I'm Regina, embarking on a journey where I left my hometown in Brazil to pursue my soul callings. Yoga arrived in my life around 9 years ago and it saved me from the dark void I was once in. It helped me to create a new life for myself. To understand my body. To get in tune with my breath. It showed me how I had massive potential within myself to overcome anything and create more light along my journey.
After many years of practice, the craving to be teaching yoga was speaking more and more to me. Was then when I decided to leave everything and go to India for my teacher training. Which was one of the best decisions I've ever made. During my training I could deepen my own practices and at same time learn how to guide others. I've learned so much not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I've come back to the west with a whole new perception of myself which changes my perception of everything around me.
I've completed my 200hr Hatha Yoga Training in Varkala, India in Pranam Yoga Joseph School, where I studied about asanas, meditations, mantras, anatomy, ayurveda, pranayama and much more. Giving me a basis on how to properly guide my students but most of all to offer a sense of presence and connection we all seek.
Yoga saved me and gave me a whole new life direction, and my main purpose now is to be able to offer a safe and relaxing space in my classes, where you can feel present and connect deeply with your inner strength and light.
My classes are about connecting to your breath and body, creating space for the release of tension. At same time, we work on opening space for more flexibility and strength. Slow movements, postures held for a substantial amount of time, adjustments when welcomed and necessary. My main purpose is to create a safe and relaxed environment where you can feel open, recharged and in tune with your body by the end of each class.
Classes are suitable for all levels.
